Don't Stay Down!

I recently had the opportunity to go to a live taping of my uncle's (Steve Harvey) show.  After the show he stayed out and just talked to the studio audience.  During this time, he shared many things with us.  He shared that he was where he was because of God.  He shared that when people tell him that he really got himself together, that he corrects them and says that it was not him but God.  He went on to say that when we get down, we don't have to stay down as God doesn't hold us down.  And this is where I really began to feel encouraged.  While things weren't wrong in my life, but my priorities shifted, so keeping connected with you was a priority in word but not reflected in deed. So I am happy to say that I didn't stay down.  I know it has been a while, but I didn't stay down. 

Your life empowered moment for today is this!  Don't stay down.  If I can get up, surly you can.
