A couple of weeks ago, I received an email from my sister and I smiled.. I then went on to say, I was supposed to be doing that. So a bit of disappointment in myself and guilt set in. Not that she wasn't supposed to do it, but I knew that I was as well.
So I just kept talking about it, sharing with my husband how proud I am of her and that she is doing great things. I would then go on to say that I was supposed to be doing it. And then he said to me, "What do you mean you're not doing it? You are doing it…" Then he began to show me the thing that I thought I wasn't doing, that I actually was doing. I was immediately shocked and pleased at the same time.
Why am I sharing this with you? I am glad that you asked. Just being you changes lives, that is if you are being you. Sometimes we think that it has to be a huge production but it doesn't have to be. It just has to be you loving or supporting or cheering someone on, in the way that you do it.
So I do, I encourage you during this moment. Just be the best you that you can be!
