Motivational Moments

I have been reflecting on all of the important people in my life and those that I have been able to watch and learn from. I am grateful that they have taught me so many things, often, without saying a word or saying very little. Take my grandmother for example. She has had severe back trouble for many years now; however, she still gets up and moves around quite well, while in pain. I remember sitting and talking with her and she said something very powerful. "It hurts when I move and it hurts when I stay still, so if it’s gonna hurt, I may as well go on and do what I gotta do." She must have said that to me about five years ago and it has stuck with me. Sometimes we allow pain, inconvenience, hurt (emotionally and physically) cause us to stop our lives from moving forward. We are still here, but we are existing, not living. We must, live our lives to the fullest regardless to the ailments that we deal with. If we focus more on living and less on the pain while existing, you will find that the purpose that you have found living will alleviate the pain of being alive. So how does one do that? Integrate these three activities in your life daily…1) Find good in everything 2) Create good in all that you do 3) Live each day with purpose to make the world a better place through your contributions. So what the Life Empowered Moment for today? Live Life!!!
