But here's the thing... Well two really... 1) Once I have identified my flaws, I have to decide if I want to do something about it. The quirkiness of me is what makes me who I am. So I don't know that I want to be completely disconnected from my flaws. And 2) While, I know that there are things that I need to work on, my opinion is that there will always be, so why not spend my time crafting and improving on the things that I am good at. There's a book called “Now Go Put Your Strengths to Work”. The premise of the book is to help one identify what he/she is good at and then focus on the attributes of who we are rather than the flaws.
So I challenge you today! Understand your strengths, celebrate them, and focus on them. Understanding and using your strengths is how you can best live a life empowered!
