Expecting Better!

I recently saw a very small piece of the movie, the “Odd Life of Timothy Green".  I was heading out of the house and the clip that I saw was one in
which Timothy was attempting to play soccer. He was doing a terrible, terrible job.  In this scene he attempted to kick the ball into the goal and
missed.  But what was odd is that after the failed attempt, he had the biggest, happiest smile on his face.  The coach looked at him and asked him why he had this huge smile.  Timothy simply responded with, "I can only get better from here." 

I wanted to share this because we have to be optimistic in our life, even when everything is going wrong.  We have to speak positivity into the atmosphere and into our lives. 

Our words have so much power.  Not only in what we say to others but in what we say to ourselves. Sometimes we convince ourselves that we are incapable or unworthy although we are.  We have to choose and use our words carefully. 

Today's life empowered moment is this.  Expect good things, speak good things, and believe good things.  Even in the worst of situations look for the silver lining.  It's there.  I challenge you to do this in your life and in the life of others.
