Over the last several weeks, I have heard and seen so many goals and aspirations for the new year. I am truly a believer of words and the power behind them, but there is nothing like connecting our activities together with our words. As we set our goals for this year, let's do a couple of things to ensure that we achieve the goals that we set. For example, write down your annual goal, then take that goal and break down quarterly activities that will help you accomplish your annual goal. Then take your quarterly goals, and break it down to monthly goals that will help you achieve that quarterly goal, then ultimately the annual goal. Then take that monthly goal and break it into weekly goals. - you get the point. Before you know it, you will have accomplished your goal. A few other things that will help you are as follows: 1) Set a specific amount of time aside. 2) Get an accountability partner -that will hold you accountable 3) Go for it. 4) Celebrate after each milestone with something small a treat to acknowledge your accomplishment.
